The Finance Committee assists the Board of Directors in overseeing the financial affairs of PWSRCAC. The committee is comprised of the Treasurer and three members of the Board of Directors. Finance Committee members are appointed by the board for one-year terms.
The finance committee:
• Reviews interim financial reports and proposed budgets to make recommendations to the Board for acceptance or changes
• Meets with the independent auditor at least annually to review the scope of each year's annual audit and the findings of such audits
• Meets with PWSRCAC's management and financial staff to review internal controls and develop additional interim reporting methods to assist the board
• Assists staff and/or auditors with the drafting of annual financial statements and notes
