“This is attempt to capture and convey the emotions I experienced as I first heard about the massive spill in the waters just outside Valdez.  As an Alaskan who lived through the debates and planning for the pipeline, remembering how hard we as a people worked to ensure protection for our unique land, knowing how much we wanted to believe that we were safe from catastrophic effects of oil development, the news hit me with an almost palpable blow, leaving me in shock, angry shock.”

K N Goodrich  was born and raised in Alaska. Making and exhibiting art has been her primary occuption since 1996. Goodrich’s work as been accepted into a number of juried exhibitions.
