PWSRCAC is interested in hearing from you. We also like to provide information and research that we have collected concerning NIS.

If you have specific research papers or reference material to contribute to our NIS database project, please contact Lisa Ka'aihue directly (see contact info at right).

We would like to:

• Collaborate with members of government and the scientific community on projects that will protect Prince William Sound from non-indigenous aquatic species invasion

• Collaborate with members of government and the public on new federal and state legislation to prevent and treat non-indigenous aquatic species invasion

• Obtain copies of any new research or reference material that would further our understanding of the non-indigenous aquatic species invasion risk to Prince William Sound

• Obtain information from vendors and research scientists on new ballast water treatment technologies that could be effective for treating tanker ballast water on ships and on shore
