Request for Proposals: Review internal inspection of crude oil storage tank 8

Storage Tanks at Valdez Marine Terminal
Storage tanks at Valdez Marine Terminal

The Council is inviting proposals for a project to review the 2019/2020 internal inspection and repair of crude oil storage Tank 8 at the Valdez Marine Terminal. In 2019 and continuing into 2020, this tank is undergoing an internal, American Petroleum Institute Standard 653 inspection. These extensive inspections are a critical part of how Alyeska Pipeline Service Company maintains the terminal’s 14 operational crude oil storage tanks.

The final work product will be a report summarizing the results of the inspection and repair, and if warranted, recommendations that could improve the maintenance of this tank and others.

Submittal Deadline: March 31, 2020
