NOW HIRING: Administrative Assistant for Valdez Office

Valdez, AlaskaThe Council is seeking skilled and experienced candidates for an administrative assistant for our Valdez office. This is a full time position.

Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to perform a variety of tasks requiring independent judgement. The position is primarily responsible for inputting documents into the digital document management filing system. Other general duties include greeting visitors, screening telephone calls, coordinating logistical and travel arrangements, maintaining general office equipment, and providing general staff administrative support.

Qualifications include: Associates Degree or a minimum of two years of relevant undergraduate courses and two years of progressive experience in an office environment.

Starting wage: $25.00 per hour. DOE plus benefits after sixty days.
