Patrick represents the City of Seward on the Council’s Board.

Patrick was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana. He attended Washington State University on a full scholarship for basketball. In 1987, he transferred to the University of Alaska Fairbanks to complete his last year of NCAA Division 1 and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1989.

He worked for Chugach Electric Association in Anchorage for 29 years as an engineer, relay tech foreman, and substation tech. He later worked for Hilcorp on the Slope for a year at the Central Power Station as a relay tech. He now works for the City of Seward as Electrical Operations Supervisor.

He lives in Seward with his lovely wife Kim. He has two daughters and three stepkids. All are grown and doing their own thing.

“Everything Alaska is me,” Patrick says. “I love to hunt, fish, hike, and spend as much time in Prince William Sound as I can, taking advantage of the many cabins and beaches to explore.”
