To determine if the treated ballast water effluent affects the zooplankton community, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) concentrations in water, suspended particulate material (SPM), and Neocalanus copepods were determined throughout Port Valdez and in Prince William Sound (PWS) in April 2004.
