This report identified and reviewed non-destructive methods that could be used at the Valdez Marine Terminal to test the integrity of the now 40-year-old buried secondary containment liners installed at the East Tank Farm. The report recommended two types of liner testing for consideration, tracer gas testing and a geophysical technique called electrical leak location testing.
