The second phase of this work was initiated May 1, 2008 to follow up on the extensive and office study conducted in 2006 (West and Cho, 2007) on the Valdez Marine Terminal.
This first study involved a detailed analysis of the rock slope stability for the site. The Executive Summary for that report and the table of data compiled by PWSRCAC on slope stability are included in Appendix A of this current report. The initial purpose of the second phase of work was to determine the extent to which Alyeska had considered the recommendations of the 2007 report.
