Outreach Project Manager
Maia coordinates and facilitates communication and involvement between PWSRCAC and its volunteers, member entities, communities in the Exxon Valdez oil spill region, and other key audiences.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Maia holds a bachelor’s degree in biological science and dance from Connecticut College. Since 2015, she has worked environmental education, interpretation, and outreach across Southcentral Alaska including for the Chugach National Forest, Kenai Fjords National Park, Let Every Woman Know – Alaska, and the Campbell Creek Science Center.
Outside of work, she is an artist with Momentum Dance Collective and loves spending time outdoors.
