Valdez Book Launch

The Council is hosting a series of events to celebrate the launch of Protectors of Prince William Sound.

Free copies available for Valdez residents (one per household) at events:

Wednesday, May 6:

5:30 – 8 p.m.: Public reception and book launch (Kelsey Municipal Plaza)

Thursday, May 7:

8:30-Noon: Crestodina available to sign books (Valdez Civic Center)
1 p.m.: Interactive presentation for homeschoolers with Tom Crestodina (Valdez Consortium Library)
6 p.m.: Crestodina Author Talk (Valdez Consortium Library)

Whittier Book Launch

Free copies available for Whittier residents (one per household) at two events:

Monday, May 11:

“Coffee with a Scientist” at the Frisky Mermaid (formerly Lazy Otter Cafe), 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Tuesday May 12:

Prince William Sound Natural History Symposium: Presentation on the book from 11:15-11:45 a.m. Distribution of copies of the book at the PWSRCAC booth from 12:30-1:45 p.m.
