The Council is inviting proposals for state legislative lobbyist or monitor services. This role includes tracking administrative and legislative actions that affect the Council, providing weekly written reports during the legislative session, coordinating and scheduling meetings between legislators and Council representatives, and participating in Legislative Affairs Committee meetings. As needed, the contractor may also analyze legislation, provide recommendations on strategy, assist with testimony and briefing materials, attend hearings, and meet with state officials to convey the Council’s concerns and positions.
